Will GTA 6 Contain An Online Mode?

By Faith LaneFebruary 27, 2024
gta 6

GTA 5 Online is incredibly popular, having had 111,258.9 active Steam players in just the last 30 days. This game allows players to enter a world that is a lot like our own…but with a lot more violence. Players will be able to enter the open world, which they were introduced to during the story mode of the game, using weapons that they can customize to cause mayhem or make cool vehicles to drive around in. With the release of GTA 6 hopefully coming in 2025, it raises the question of if it will have an Online mode of its own. This guide will answer the question.

GTA 6 Will Welcome A New Online Mode

GTA 6 has been in the works for many years, and while the community is becoming very antsy, they will be pleased in more ways than one about what is to come. The sixth installment of the game will feature its very own online mode, but it will be separate from GTA 5. This could be good for those who won’t have access to the newest version of GTA Online when it releases due to older PC models or consoles – however, surely GTA 5 would close at some point, but that would be a ways away if ever.

Something else to think about with the future of GTA is that GTA Online has been known to have its weekly update every Thursday, with a much bigger update every so often as well. Once GTA 6 releases and a new Online mode is launched, it makes us wonder how long GTA 5 will receive updates. For now, a new version of GTA Online won’t see the light of day until sometime in 2025, as long as GTA 6 isn’t delayed. Rockstar so far hasn’t given any indication as to when 2025 the new GTA Online game could be released, but hopefully, it will be sooner in the month rather than later.
