Dead Space Remake Break Room Location and Codes

By Keith MitchellFebruary 5, 2023

Would you believe me if I told you there’s still a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Dead Space Remake? While there are plenty of easter eggs, there are also a few new tricks that weren’t in the original game, such as a really cool take of a sea shanty, a way to get some extra power nodes, and an unknown text log.

To access any of these, you’ll need to enter several sequences or codes I’ve listed, in the Break Room located on the Bridge. To get there, you’ll have to make your way to the Bridge Atrium and take the elevator down to the third floor. Once there, make your way to the Break Room, and you’ll find a red circle on the ground. It’s here where you’ll need to perform these sequences.

If you’re unsure how to find this room, check out the image and the video below.

When inputting these sequences, you must ensure that you stay within the red circle. Whenever Issac performs a melee attack or stomps, he tends to lunge forward, so make sure you get back into the circle. If you happen to end up outside the circle, you’ll have to start over.

Dead Space Remake Unknown Text Log

Dead Space Remake Unknown text log

Inputting this sequence will unearth a text log you can’t find via normal means and is a poem.

“Dead, they ascend the stars. Blessed are the watchers who guard their sleep. May the holy fleet endure beyond the reach of our enemies. May the brethren make them know.

For our fleet and its scared cargo – glory everlasting. For those who disturb their stasis-blessed death will be denied them.

Praised be the Markers, and Altman, their eternal prophet.”

Sequence Code: Melee, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Melee, Stomp.

This will provide you with two free power nodes to upgrade your Rig or weapons.

Sequence Code: Punch, Punch, Stomp, Punch, Punch, Stomp, Stomp, Punch, Punch, Punch, Stomp, Stomp.

This Dead Space updated version of the “Wellerman” Sea Shanty audio log can be discovered by entering this sequence.

Sequence Code: Melee, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Stomp, Melee, Melee, Melee, Melee, Stomp.

Dead Space Remake is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
