What If…? Season 2 Gets Official Trailer

By Todd BlackNovember 15, 2023
Marvel Studios What If_ Season 2 _ Official Trailer, What If...? Season 2

While the MCU might not be in the best place right now (outside of Loki Season 2, read our review!), fans do have one last thing to look forward to before the year ends.

What If…? Season 2 will continue the “watchful” adventures of the Marvel characters through the eyes of The Watcher. As he notes in the trailer below, there are twisted things happening in the multiverse, and that means things need to be observed. But given all the wackiness and unexpected twists of the first season, what will Season 2 bring?

Thankfully, the trailer gives us a good look at that and teases plenty of unexpected storylines. First, we will get more Captain Carter and her adventures in the present day. Second, we’ll get the Gamora episode that was meant to establish why she was a part of the team at the end of Season 1.

Other teases include the arrival of Shang-Chi characters fighting Odin of all people, a Die Hard-themed episode focused on Avengers Tower, a very different team of Avengers forming, and more!

The biggest twist is What If…? Season 2 will release all nine episodes of its run across the last nine days of the year! That means it’ll debut on December 22nd and end on December 31st! How’s that for a Christmas/New Year’s present?

Check out the full trailer below!

You can watch Marvel’s What If…? Season one on Disney+.
