One of my most anticipated games of the year, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, has not only gotten news of a demo but has already dropped it on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. It is supposed to release on Steam too, but the demo isn’t up yet, as far as I can see.
The demo of Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter includes the prologue and the first chapter of the game. Which if it is as long as Trails in the Sky SC should be a good chunk of the game, as there were 10 chapters in the original game if you include the prologue and epilogue. They also released the opening video for the game on YouTube to celebrate the demo!
Note that on Nintendo Switch, the eshop page for the demo is not up, but if you open the eshop via your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, it will show up there. Not sure why that behaviour is happening, but likely a sync issue. The Chinese, Japanese, and Korean versions of the demo went up a whole 9 hours ago. The global version done by GungHo Online Entertainment is the one that is going up now or momentarily, if you are waiting for Steam to update.
