Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Officially Revealed

By Keith MitchellMarch 4, 2025

After weeks of teasing, Activision has finally made it official—Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake is coming. The highly anticipated remaster drops on July 11, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Iron Galaxy is handling development for THPS 3 + 4 Remake, stepping in for Vicarious Visions, the studio that nailed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remake before being absorbed into Blizzard. While some fans (myself included) would have loved to see Vicarious Visions return, Iron Galaxy has a solid track record, and expectations are high.

Check out the trailer below.

The game will be available in multiple editions: Standard, Deluxe, and a Collector’s Edition, with the latter two offering a three-day early access bonus. In a wild crossover, DOOM’s Doomslayer and Revenant will be playable skaters, but here’s the catch—they’re exclusive to the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. Standard edition players will have to sit this one out and honestly, that sucks.

All the original skate parks from THPS 3 and 4 are returning, plus a brand-new park called Waterpark is being added. And it’s not just the maps—every original skater returns, alongside fresh faces like Yuto Horigome, Rayssa Leal, Jamie Foy, Chloe Covell, and Zion Wright. Fan-favorite features like Create-A-Skater and Create-A-Park are getting enhancements, making customization even deeper. Plus, a revamped New Game+ mode promises extra replayability.

The only thing we don’t know about is if the original licensed music tracks will return. I hope they do, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Mark your calendars—July 11, 2025, is when the grind begins all over again.
