TOKYOPOP to Offer Comic-Con International 2026 Exclusive Variant of Masters of the Universe: Legends of Eternia, Issue #1

TOKYOPOP will have an exclusive variant cover edition of the first issue at Comic-Con International 2026. The edition will be available only at select events.

The original, full-color, manga-styled story serves as a prequel to the 2026 Masters of the Universe film. A graphic novel compilation is planned for Spring 2027. The series will be published by TOKYOPOP, and its story will be handled by Amanda Deibert with art by Emanuele Ercolani and Annamaria Scarpa.

TOKYOPOP describes Masters of the Universe: Legends of Eternia as follows:

After He-Man’s victory over Skeletor, Eternia’s heroes gather to recount the 15 years of strife and chaos before Prince Adam’s return—and the choices that helped them become legends.

The standard edition of Issue #1 releases July 29, 2026; monthly issues continue beginning September 2026.
