Tears of the Kingdom Amiibo Coming On Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Day

Champions Unite!

I’m still reeling from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, how about you? There was so much to process from the showcase, including the numerous software and hardware reveals. However, that wasn’t the only type of reveal made yesterday. If you weren’t paying attention to the Nintendo of America Twitter feed, you likely missed out on a cool reveal for Amiibo collectors. Specifically, that five characters from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are getting new figures, and they’ll arrive on June 5th, which is the Switch 2’s launch date.

You can see all the Amiibo figures below, including the tease of Mineru’s construct Amiibo, which will likely be really cool-looking when it’s all done.

If you recall, Tears of the Kingdom is one of many titles getting a “Nintendo Switch 2 Enhanced Edition,” and that likely is why the Amiibo figures are coming, so that you can get them while you play or replay the game on the new console. Don’t forget, if you have the OG version, you can just pay a small-ish fee for the upgrade and not have to rebuy the title.
