Riot Games has revealed Riftbound: Vendetta, the game’s fourth set,
…bringing some of League of Legends’ biggest rivalries to the tabletop when it launches on July 31.
As the name suggests, Vendetta is built around iconic enemies facing off, with Champion pairings like Shen and Zed and Mel and Ambessa leading the charge. Alongside the new Champions come three new mechanics that should shake up gameplay.
Flow lets players play cards from their trash, Burn fuels strategies by sending cards from the Main Deck to the trash, and Empower allows cards to become stronger after they’ve already entered play, giving players more flexibility as matches progress.
Riot is also introducing Showdown Decks, a new two-player product containing two ready-to-play decks in a single box. The first release asks a simple question: Shen or Zed?

Collectors have something to chase as well, with signed Overnumbered Legends and 22 Rival Overnumbers celebrating some of Runeterra’s greatest rivalries.
With previews now underway, Vendetta is shaping up to be one of Riftbound’s most interesting sets yet. We’ll have more coverage, including card reveals and product details, as we get closer to launch.
