Nintendo Direct For OG Switch Dropping Tomorrow

By Todd BlackMarch 26, 2025
Nintendo Direct Mini

Just when you thought we had Nintendo figured out, The Big N pulls a fast one just DAYS before its biggest presentation of the year. Yes, before we all geek out about the Switch 2 Direct next Wednesday, tomorrow, we’re getting a Nintendo Direct about the OG Nintendo Switch. Naturally, fans have plenty of questions about this, including WHY Nintendo is doing this now instead of last month, or even earlier this month! Plus, with it being about OG Switch games, what are they going to show at this Direct?

The easiest of answers is Metroid Prime 4, which may be the “swan song” of the system. We could also get something about Pokémon Legends Z-A, which had a rather disappointing trailer a month ago. There is also a possibility for one last surprise or two before the Switch 2 arrives. No matter what, we’ll cover the Nintendo Direct tomorrow.

Tune in tomorrow, March 27th, at 7 a.m. PT for a livestreamed #NintendoDirect, featuring around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. There will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.
