A new anime project adapting the Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga series was announced nearly two years ago. At Jump Festa 2026 on Saturday, it was finally revealed that the new project is the third season and that it will air in 2027.
The new season will adapt the Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, which covers chapters 75 through 102 of the manga. This arc introduces multiple new characters including Domina Blowelive and Doom. A promotional video and visual were also revealed at the event.
The first season aired during Spring 2023 and received a 7.62 score from My Anime List. The second season aired during Winter 2024 and received a 7.79 score. The manga by Hajime Kōmoto had its first volume published by Shueisha June 2020. Its 18th and final volume was released October 2023. All volumes were published in English by Viz Media.
