Back towards the end of 2025, Skybound Entertainment, and Quarter Up hosted a closed beta for Invincible VS, meaning only those who had received an invite could participate. If you were frustrated by that, not to worry, you’ll get your chance during the Invincible VS open beta, which is set to take place from April 9th through 11th, 2026.
The beta will be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. PC gamers will be sitting this one out, likely to prevent datamining ahead of the full release.
The following characters will be playable during the beta:
- Invincible
- Atom Eve
- Rex Splode
- Monster Girl
- Bulletproof
- Allen the Alien
- Omni-Man
- Battle Beast
- Robot
- Thula
I was hoping we’d get to see the other new characters such as the recent reveal of Dupli-Kate and Powerplex, during this beta, but that’s not in the cards it seems. But we are getting Allen the Alien, who was leaked a while back, and sadly isn’t voiced by Seth Rogen.
Several stages will also be available, including Hometown (Night), The Moon, Ka-Hor’s Tomb (Day), Himalayas, Kinetic Chamber, and Training Room.
