Hunter X Hunter Nen Impact Fighting Game Revealed by Eighting

Bushiroad Games and fighting game developer Eighting has revealed what the new Hunter x Hunter game will look like. At the very least, the game will sport a 3v3.  We don’t know about the gameplay, or if this will be a 3D or 2.5D game, as it’s pretty hard to see from the released trailer

Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, and Netero seem to come out to play in the stadium. Hunter X Hunter is a Shonen anime, after all, so we’ll probably be seeing several other fan favorites and characters within this world.

Check out the teaser trailer below.

The way Eighting phrased what should be expected, it feels as though they’ll be leaning towards what they’ve done with MvC3 and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, from the sounds of it. The term “full-scale fighting game” was used.

Whatever it turns out to be, with Eighting involved, we can assume that this is going to be a solid fighting game. However, fingers crossed that this won’t be another arena fighter… Unless you like those kinds of fighters.
