Playground Games, alongside IGN, has released a new look at Forza Horizon 6, giving fans a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming racing title.
This latest video focuses heavily on vehicle customization, showcasing the wide range of options available while also highlighting how much easier it is to fine-tune your cars. From visual upgrades to deeper tuning systems, everything looks more streamlined, giving players more control without making things overly complicated.
One of the more interesting additions is the ability to customize car garages. While it might not seem like a huge feature at first, it adds another layer of personalization that makes the experience feel more like your own. Players can design their garages however they want and even share those creations with others.
Altogether, these updates suggest that Forza Horizon 6 is leaning even further into player freedom and personalization, something the series has always done well.
Adding to the excitement, Forza Horizon 6 will take place in Japan, a location fans have been requesting since the very first Forza Horizon was released. It’s a perfect fit for the series, bringing together the home of drifting culture, neon-lit cities, and scenic country roads that are ideal for both high-speed racing and technical drift runs (go watch Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift). It’s a setting that has the potential to deliver some of the most visually striking and gameplay-rich moments the franchise has seen.
Forza Horizon 6 is currently in development for Xbox Series X, and PC, and is expected to be available via Xbox Game Pass, with a May 19, 2026, release date. A PlayStation 5 version is also in development, however, there hasn’t been an announcement of its release date.
