Today, Nintendo fans were surprised as Nintendo announced that the upcoming Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, will be getting a Nintendo Direct for tomorrow, August 4th, 2026. Nintendo announced it on its Social Media account on Twitter.
The Heroic Games are approaching! Tune in on Aug 4 at 7am PT for the Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Direct, featuring roughly 20 minutes of new information about the game. #NintendoDirect

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is a highly anticipated title since it is not only a new game in the Fire Emblem Series. It is also a sequel to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There have been videos all throughout Nintendo’s social media and YouTube channel depicting new content and characters for the game. Though the big reveals generally wait until Nintendo holds a Nintendo Direct. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave getting a Direct means we will be learning a lot of new information about the game.
