SNK has revealed yet another character for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Kim Jae Hoon with a new gameplay trailer. Following the Season 2 announcement, Jae Hoon is the first character returning to the tournament.
Determined not to be overshadowed by his older brother Dong Hwan, Jae Hoon showcases his honest, pressure-driven fighting style. Motivated by a desire for justice, he still seeks the formidable opponent who bested the legendary wolf, Kim Kaphwan.
Jae Hoon’s kit is more akin to Kaphwan’s than his brotherly counterpart. He even still has the Hishou Kyaku divekick with different options. He still possesses his flash kick move, also, with some interesting properties. Jae Hoon can chain both of his Gear supers. Jae Hoon is in it for the long haul. His original normals seem to be around for the best of things with footstomps and the feints.
And of course, Jae Hoon has that special Hidden Gear super move that pays homage to Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. Kim would be proud. Especially with the new stage that resembles Kaphwan’s stages in Real Bout games. The Kaphwan Taekwon Do Academy rises again! 
Jae Hoon has already made the rounds, and content creators such as Rooflemonger and Desk ,through an early build, have already posted videos for him. Desk has already cracked 37 hits in a single combo. Jae Hoon’s versatility is definitely a staple of the madness that is.
There will be a massive patch list to come along with Jae Hoon. The Ranked Phase 2 session will also start tomorrow. There are sweeping changes per character that affects damage output and frames.
Kim Jae Hoon joins the roster tomorrow as part of the Season 2 DLC for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Howard Wang will be voicing the character. Krauser, Geese, and Blue Mary, will join him in the next few months. Also, with some balance changes to the game to add to the tactics. Prices for the new DLC have not yet been revealed.
