To celebrate their debut 10th anniversary, Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES released a special cover album dedicated to the Haikyu!! anime series.
BURNOUT SYNDROMES first made their debut with the song “FLY HIGH!!” which was specially written as the opening theme to Haikyu!!, which was then followed-up by “hikariare” and “PHOENIX.” Across three seasons of the show, their powerful rock sound became closely associated with some of the anime’s most memorable moments, establishing Haikyu!! as an important part of the band’s musical history.
Now, as they reach their debut 10th anniversary, BURNOUT SYNDROMES return to that shared history with a collection of covers celebrating the artists and songs that have shaped the Haikyu!! soundtrack.
The album features BURNOUT SYNDROMES’ interpretations of iconic Haikyu!! theme songs originally performed by an impressive lineup of artists, including SPYAIR, NICO Touches the Walls, Sukima Switch, tacica, CHiCO with HoneyWorks, and SUPER BEAVER.
The album’s cover artwork also features specially drawn illustrations from the anime Haikyu!!, making the release a celebration of both the series and BURNOUT SYNDROMES’ decade-long musical journey.
