Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has officially hit 3 million players playing the game. They have also revealed a few more statistics for this title in particular.

🔥 OVER 3 MILLION PLAYERS FOR AC SHADOWS! 🔥

✅2nd highest Day 1 sales revenue in Assassin’s Creed franchise history
✅Biggest Ubisoft Day 1 ever on PlayStation Digital Store
✅Best community ever, with over 40 Million hours already played

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the 2nd highest Day 1 sales revenue in Assassin’s Creed franchise history. The only one that has sold more on day 1 would be Valhalla. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sold around 1.7 million copies in its first day. This means that it is only slightly lower than that which is really good considering Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was a cross generational release being on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Assassin’s Creed Shadows only released on the current generation consoles with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are some impressive numbers especially with it being the biggest amount of purchases on PlayStation for any Ubisoft title ever for day 1.

If you haven’t taken a look at our review of the game, you should check it out to see why so many people are playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
