If you are someone waiting for any news for the upcoming 2026 release of Etrange Overlord, welcome to the day you are waiting for, the release date announcement. That’s right, NIS America dropped news of when it will be coming out.
We get a good view of the basic premise of the game in this trailer. Étrange von Rosenburg dies and goes to hell. Now, to conquer hell, she finds an array of individuals to become her subordinates. Use the music and action combat to take over enemy lanes and become the overlord!
Sohei Niikawa, creator of Etrange Overlord, Disgaea, and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) at r/JRPG on Reddit tomorrow, 12/5, at 4:00 PM PT. Questions will be collected for translation an hour before the start time. If you are interested, make sure to put that in your calendar.
Etrange Overlord will be released on March 26th, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
