- REMOW announced that it will launch It’s Anime, a 24/7 FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel on VIZIO’s free streaming service, WatchFree+, in the United States. This launch allows the U.S. audience to access culturally authentic, premium Japanese anime content for free without the need for a subscription.
“We are delighted to bring the It’s Anime FAST channel to VIZIO WatchFree customers. This launch will help grow REMOW’s mission of expanding anime viewing opportunities for dedicated anime fans as well as introducing fresh, new anime titles to a general audience who might not have had the opportunity to explore until now. We are eager for this launch to significantly advance contributions to Japanese anime creators whose creative artwork is meant to be celebrated and rewarded,” said Akira Ishii, CEO of REMOW.
Customers who have VIZIO and on smart TVs with VIZIO OS can watch the It’s Anime Channel by opening the WatchFree+ app on their TV and going to channel 986. In addition, the It’s Anime channel is available to anyone, for free, through WatchFree+ on the VIZIO mobile app.
It’s Anime delivers not only catalogue titles, but also the latest seasons of hit series, such as TOUGEN ANKI, which ranked among the Global Top 10 of Non-English Shows on Netflix in August. The lineup also includes a wide variety of genres like beloved rom-coms and compelling sci-fi series. Here are some of the titles on the “It’s Anime” FAST channel on WatchFree+:
TOUGEN ANKI
