Starfield's Shattered Space DLC Set for Fall Release, Todd Howard Confirms

This fall, Starfield fans can look forward to the much-anticipated Shattered Space expansion. Todd Howard, the game’s director, confirmed the release window during a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games. This update promises to bring a slew of new features and content to the popular RPG.

While talking about upcoming updates, Howard highlighted that Shattered Space is set for release in the fall but there’s another big update arriving even sooner. He teased significant enhancements in the game’s map and city navigation.

Shattered Space will be the first major expansion for Starfield, which has been included in the game’s pricier editions. It’s expected to introduce new storylines, locations, and equipment. The anticipation has been building since Bethesda’s announcement last December, and it seems the wait will soon be over.

Aside from Shattered Space, Bethesda plans to keep fans engaged with regular updates roughly every six weeks, focusing on improvements and new functionalities. The next update, which includes upgrades for ship building, is expected to hit the Steam beta shortly.

Bethesda also mentioned exploring partnerships with external developers to boost their game output. This strategic move could lead to more exciting developments for Starfield and future projects.
