Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League To Launch 2022

By Stephen NovakAugust 22, 2020

After five years of silence, Rocksteady Games (Batman Arkham) has unveiled its newest title, “Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League”. An action-adventure game that apes to combine Rocksteady’s counter combo combat with a visceral set of shooting mechanics.

The game is set in Superman’s hometown, Metropolis, featuring Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang (it’s okay if you only know one and a half members of the cast, I didn’t either). Allowing players to seamlessly transition between characters when playing by themselves or letting up to three friends join in a co-op mode.

The story plans to take players around the city and gives them a hit list of classic  DC Heroes (such as The Flash) until the Suicide Squad takes on Superman. It should be noted that this game’s story is a continuation of the Batman Arkham Series but it’s unclear as to whether or not the Dark Knight will make an appearance. This might explain the absence of more famous members of the team like The Joker. Though Superman was melting off an innocent person’s face, so we can assume that any hero that does appear should be treated with disdain.

Harley Quinn also has a grapple gun. No, I don’t know if Batman copyrighted that thing.

The game is set to release sometime in 2022 for the next-gen consoles. Check out the trailer below.
