Preorders for Disney+ are now live

Better get those wallets ready

Disney+, the new upcoming streaming service from Disney is now available to preorder. While the service won’t launch until November 12, 2019, if you’re in the U.S., you can start to give the House of Mouse your hard-earned cash.

Currently, you can signup for a monthly subscription at $6.99, or the annual subscription of $69.99. Both will also provide a free 7-day trial. There’s also a bundled package that includes Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. This bundle is priced at $12.99, however, it isn’t available for preorder and you can only subscribe to this once Disney+ launches. At the time of this writing the article, the Disney+ website is being slammed. So it may take a while to get your preorder squared aware.

Disney+ will allow up to four devices to streaming the service, up to seven profiles, unlimited downloads (where available) and no ads during playback. The service will be compatible with Roku players an TVs, PS Vue, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, and Xbox One at launch.

Disney+ will be home to most if not all of Disney’s content, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Disney’s animated features, all of the Star Wars films, The Muppets and original content such as Obi-Wan, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, and The Mandalorian.

There are several videos showing the service in action. We’ve included one of those videos below so you can get an idea as to what to expect when Disney+ launches this November 12, 2019.

It will be interesting to see how Disney+ fares and what this means for other streaming services such as Netflix. Especially for Netflix and Amazon. Once Disney+ launches, both of these services will eventually lose access to all Disney content. Which is a considerable amount of content and why both have been on a tear creating their own original shows these few past years.
