This Friday marks the release of the next booster set in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, Battles of Legend -Light’s Revenge-.
Battles of Legends -Light’s Revenge- marks the western debut of several cards in the Odd-Eyes line of cards, including Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon, whose card effect allows you to tribute a monster to Special Summon it from your hand once a Pendulum Monster has been destroyed by battle or card effect. Other cards in the set include supports and reprints of cards such as Witch of the Black Forest, select Lightsworn cards, and HERO cards. Battles of Legends -Light’s Revenge- will feature 80 all-foil cards, a combination of 60 Ultra Rares and 20 Secret Rares, sold in 5-card packs.
In addition, on July 21st, the 12th starter deck from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, Starter Deck: Link Strike, will make its way to Western shores. The TCG equivalent to the Official Card Game’s 2017 Starter Deck, Link Strike will incorporate Link Monsters and Link Summoning into the game, coinciding with the release of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. The deck will feature 43 cards, a beginner’s guide and an updated Game Mat with new Extra Monster Zones.
Lastly, we have been blessed with the opportunity to provide a sneak peek at what is to come with Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s next expansion, Circuit Break!
Just in time for Halloween, Circuit Break will release on October 20th. This expansion will feature one hundred cards, including 8 Secret Rare cards, featuring famous monsters from history such as Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys.
Halloween horrors arrive early in Circuit Break, November’s 100-card booster set! Marionettes that move on their own, a mad scientist, and vengeful spirits returning to walk the earth are just the beginning of what you’ll find in Circuit Break! This booster is also home to more Link Monsters, including a terrifying new 3000 ATK Dragon that can brainwash monsters it attacks, giving you control over them until their minds burn out. Powerful cards that can go in any Deck! Circuit Break has a wide variety of cards that let you do some incredible things no matter what kind of strategy you want to employ. You might find a Trap Card that eliminates cards played in the same column as your Trap, or even a brand-new Trap Card that levels the playing field that your opponent will never see coming…because you can play it straight from your hand!
