Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is Now Verified for Steam Deck

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have officially announced that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has been verified for Steam Deck, meaning that the new installment in the series starring Goro Majima will run smoothly on Valve’s handheld device.

This news isn’t too surprising, especially considering the previous entry, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, also performed very well on Steam Deck and had excellent optimization on PC in general.

Of course, the pirate adventure will feature more action-packed sequences due to its action-oriented nature and the inclusion of spectacular naval battles. These will likely challenge the hardware of Valve’s portable device

We won’t have to wait much longer to find out how well the game runs on Steam Deck, as Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to release on February 21 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
