Today, the Rotten Tomatoes score came out, and it points to this indeed being a movie that you’ll want to see.
Currently, there are about 50 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 measures in at 86%. For context, the first film got a score of 64%, and the second film got 69%. That’s quite a jump in quality.
Another thing to note here is that its rival, the Mufasa prequel film, is at 60% on Rotten Tomatoes. Sonic 3 is not just beating it critically, but it’s projected to topple Disney at the box office this weekend, and that would be quite a feat indeed.
