Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind Set to Launch on December 10

Digital Eclipse has just announced that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind now has a release date of December 10, 2014, and will be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). The game will be priced at $34.99 for all platforms.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is an upcoming 2d beat ’em up title that takes place after Netflix’s original movie, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. In this movie, it’s here that one of the villains of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Robo Rita, is created. For those who didn’t watch it, first of all… shame on you, but in an attempt to bring Zordan back to life, Billy screwed up and restored the evil essence of Rita Repulsa, which took over the body of Alpha 8. There’s the quick rundown.

However, given the nature of the game, players will be sent to the past and will experience a brand-new storyline. The game will be playable via couch co-op or online co-op and will allow up to 5 players at once.

We had a chance to get some early hands-on with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind during PAX West 2024 and we enjoyed what we played and couldn’t wait to get more hands-on with the game. With December 2024 being 42 days away, I along with the rest of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and beat ’em up fans will get to experience this title.
