Dino Crisis Leads the Way for October’s PS Plus Additions

By Sean GarmerOctober 10, 2024
Dino Crisis

Dino Crisis blasts its way on to PlayStation Plus this month just in time for spooky season. The 1999 PlayStation 1 Survival Horror game is a cult classic and often referred to as “ Resident Evil with Dinosaurs.” And although this isn’t quite the remake announcement many gamers are hoping for, at least Capcom and Sony are making the original version readily available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 when it arrives on PS Plus Premium.

Joining Dino Crisis in the Premium tier is fellow PlayStation 2 Survival Horror title Siren, the PS4 game R-Type Dimensions Ex, and this month’s PSVR 2 inclusion The Last Clockwinder.

Highlights for the PS Extra subscribers include even more horror titles such as The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me (PS4 and PS5), the well-received Dead Island 2 (PS4 & PS5). Along with Studio Nomad’s thought-provoking first game Gris (PS4 & PS5).

Here are the rest of the games coming to PS Plus Extra:

Return to Monkey Island (PS5 Only)
Overpass 2 (PS5 Only)
Two Point Campus (PS4 & PS5)
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (PS4 & PS5)
Firefighting Simulator The Squad (PS4 & PS5)
Tour de France 2023 (PS4 & PS5)
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands (PS4)

Although perhaps it isn’t a blockbuster month in terms of landmark games. There’s certainly something to play for those subscribed to the service. Any of these titles can be downloaded or streamed (if on PS Premium) beginning October 15.
