PlayStation State of Play Happening on September 24th

PlayStation State of Play September 2024

Just like gaming personality Jeff Grubb predicted, PlayStation has announced that it will be hosting a State of Play event on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET that will be livestreamed on YouTube and Twitch. This event will be at least 30 minutes and could go longer, PlayStation has only said it will be 30+ minutes.

According to PlayStation, this State of Play event will focus on news and updates on more than 20 coming PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR 2 games, the latter of which makes me happy. Considering that many, including myself, have all but given up on the PlayStation’s second foray into virtual reality gaming.

Interestingly enough, this State of Play will be taking place days before the 2024 Tokyo Game Show, which takes place from September 26 to September 29, 2024.

I have no idea what PlayStation specific games will be shown, but fingers crossed that whatever we’re going to see and hear about will be exciting. And… maybe, yes, that rumored Bloodborne remake. We’re never going to give up hope, are we?

We’ll see you tomorrow!
