Mortal Kombat 1 Sektor Gameplay Trailer Revealed

By Kevin KellySeptember 5, 2024

Sektor is back in the new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The Lin Kuei’s future warrior isn’t just robotics. Along with Cyrax, this is moreless a new tech suit. Sektor is looking to go against Fire God Liu Kang’s image of the new timeline.  Armed with missiles and several launchers, Sektor will be ready to bring down her enemies one match at a time. Sektor seems to be using a stance in her gameplay trailers and that new “out of this world” Fatality is definitely brutal. A bit more Iron Man than not with the visor view, but still. Taking opponents into space before slamming them down where they were. Pretty quiet for the assassins of the Lin Kuei.

As for the story side, this might be the origin story of Noob Saibat as Bi Han is seen trying to get back at Havik, but sucked into a portal. Sektor is able to find him, only to speak with him being off camera. Sub-Zero Bi Han isn’t shown, but it could be implied that this is where things will go. And what’s with Johnny Cage and yet another movie prop costume? Something noticeable in the trailer: Jax has a counter to kameos and armor to block projectiles. He’s seen punching a cameo in the face after a grab. As for Sektor, her abilities have lots of juggle potential. Sektor also has a flying stance.
