Capcom Is Teasing New “Product” For Ace Attorney Franchise

Please let it be Ace Attorney 7!!!
By Todd BlackSeptember 26, 2024
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, Capcom

I have been a fan of the Ace Attorney franchise for many years now, even when it’s been really hard due to waiting for a truly “new game” to enjoy. That being said, I’ll give Capcom credit for remastering the entire saga (outside of a certain crossover) to modern platforms. With the Edgeworth Collection (read my review) now out, all eyes are on the publisher to deliver a new game, and it appears, at long last, we might actually be getting it. Oh, and it’s not just “speculation,” either, as the company teased that they’re doing a new “product introduction video” at the Tokyo Game Show on Sunday.

Yes, that’s a really roundabout way of stating that a new Ace Attorney game may be happening, but I’ll take it! Even the game’s official handle tweeted about it and teased that it’ll involve Phoenix Wright.

I wonder if a certain defense attorney will be there… https://t.co/cDONyBPHL2

Fans of the series will know that the last mainline game ended on a cliffhanger, and we’ve been waiting for a follow-up to it for almost a decade now. Let’s hope that Capcom delivers on its tease and isn’t something that makes us wait for a new game announcement even further.
