Looking ahead, Itsuno hinted at exciting new projects in the pipeline. “From September, I will start developing a new game in a new environment,” he stated. “I hope to create fun, beautiful games that are as memorable as, or even more memorable than, the ones I have created so far.” Details about his new endeavors remain scarce, but fans are already eager to see what the acclaimed director will create next.

Throughout his illustrious career, Itsuno made significant contributions to some of Capcom’s most beloved franchises. He directed multiple titles in the Devil May Cry series and both Dragon’s Dogma games, including the critically acclaimed Dragon’s Dogma 2. Capcom fans will certainly miss his unique creative vision, but there’s no doubt Itsuno’s next project will be one to watch.
