Castlevania Dominus Collection Revives Classic Titles for Modern Gaming

Out of nowhere, Konami has hit us with a blast from the past and has released three amazing Castlevania titles, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. I’m talking about Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait or Ruin, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, all of which were released on the Nintendo DS, in the all-new Castlevania Dominus Collection!

But that’s not all, as Konami has included a Castlevania title called Haunted Castle Revisited, which is based on a version that I’m sure not many of played before. I have fond memories of playing this as a child back in the 1980s. However, this looks nothing like the game I played back then.

Each game has been updated with several quality-of-life updates, including the ability to rewind an untimely death, touch controls, quick saves, a gallery to check out some of the amazing Castle artwork, and a jukebox to listen to all the music tracks from the games.

Nothing hurts a gamer more than seeing some truly amazing titles stuck on a console of the past while trying to get those older games, which will end up costing far more than they should. It is nice to see that Konami has yet again reached into its bag of older titles and has released several amazing Castlevania games and posted them to current consoles.
