Multiversus: Agent Smith Gameplay Revealed, Maintenance To Come

By Kevin KellyJuly 4, 2024

Just when you thought that The Joker was a problem and Jason was trouble in Multiversus, there’s more! The Matrix‘s Agent Smith will be joining the fray for the Chaos session. The ghost that haunted Neo is back to wreak havoc on Bugs and the gang.

Multiversus Multiversus Multiversus Multiversus Multiversus Multiversus Multiversus MultiversusArmed with everything his Matrix movie adaptation has. Multiple target parrying, slow motion jump shooting, and of course, his signature Desert Eagle for that mid-range. No projectile is going to land on him. He even looks like he has a teleport of some kind, also. Agent Smith also can summon a clone to do a few moves before he disappears. Agent Smith is a bruiser type, which seemed a bit interesting for the character. High damage on top of his already dangerous kit.

More information on Agent Smith will be revealed this week on Monday at 9 AM PT at go.wbgames.com/MVSTwitch for more information for the Age Of Smith – Into The Verse.

Other changes to MultiVersus

This comes as the recent Jason character is causing a glitch. Player First Games has disabled the fright night fighter. This issue was causing a bit of a handcuff situation. The opponent will lock onto Jason’s position until he administers the final smash.

Player First has issued a statement in response to this. This is not the first character to be temporarily removed from play. The Iron Giant was removed because of balance issues last month temporarily after the re-launch. Player First will be doing a Maintenance session this Friday at 9 AM PDT to sort out the issue and other balance patch issues. No fighting game is released perfectly, but the release’s two game-breaking characters do feel like a concern.

Attention MVPs, this Friday morning at 9:00am PDT we will be entering Maintenance Mode to make a few quick fixes and bring Jason back from vacation. We'll keep you posted on the status.
