Shueisha Launches Rimacomi+ for Shojo and Josei Manga

By Josh PiedraJune 26, 2024

Shueisha, who is the largest manga publisher in Japan, has announced that they have launched Rimacomi+, a new manga portal site that targets Shojo and Josei manga titles.

The site launched with 94 series. Among them are Io Sakisaka’s Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride) and Mayu Murata’s Honey Lemon Soda. Both of these are being distributed in North America by Shueisha’s American branch, VIZ Media.

Rimacomi+ aims to be a free website with a tiered subscription option. The free option allows a user to read without the need to create a login; however, you may only read one chapter from each series every 24 hours. The option to purchase manga chapters to read immediately is also there.

Shueisha’s wish is for Rimacomi+ to become the shojo version of their other services such as Jump+ and Manga Plus.
