REMOW, which handles the global distribution of Japanese content, announced global streaming plans for the hotly anticipated July comedy anime series “My Deer Friend Nokotan” from Studio WIT (Attack on Titan, SPY x FAMILY) based on the manga of the same name by Oshioshio.
Aiming to reach as many fans as possible and break free of the trend of platform exclusivity, My Deer Friend Nokotan is set to be the most widely-available new anime of 2024, with new episodes streaming on Crunchyroll, Prime Video, ADN, Anime Onegai and additional streaming services in over 140 countries and territories, with free & legal streaming options for over a billion people around the world.
In the last few weeks My Deer Friend Nokotan has taken the world by storm. Its second English PV is one of the most-viewed of the upcoming season on multiple platforms. Its dance has gone viral, inspiring countless remixes, a page on Know Your Meme, and generating nearly 5M views between its two official uploads.

The series will be available with Japanese audio and subtitles in one or more of the following languages, depending on the platform: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, French, German, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Thai and Traditional Chinese. Koshi Torako, a high schooler, one day feels something cold hit her face. Looking up, she spots a girl stuck, her antlers tangled in power lines. Helping Shikanoko, antlered and peculiar, turns Torako’s life, a model student by appearance only, upside down. Thus begins a tale of a girl (once a delinquent) and another (a deer?), in this Girl Meets Deer adventure!
