House of the Dragon Season 2 Drops Dual Trailers Highlighting The Imminent War

By Todd BlackMarch 21, 2024
House of the Dragon Season 2, House of the Dragon Season 3

Look, I was there, okay? Game of Thrones did NOT end on a strong note. The finale was rushed, and fans had every right to protest it. But when House of the Dragon came about and helped “reset the board,” if you will, I was as surprised as anyone by how good it was. The first season had many things to be happy about, including a feeling of freshness and style that couldn’t be ignored. House of the Dragon Season 2 is coming on June 16th, and HBO wants you to be ready for what’s about to happen.

Very quickly, at the end of Season 1, as Alicent and Rhaenyra’s forces are gathering power to try and prove who should be on the throne, Alicent’s son kills Rhaenyra’s. Yes, it was technically unintentional, but does that matter in a war? In the two trailers below, we see the “Green” and “Black” sides of the upcoming war and how it will shape the realm forevermore. Whose side will you be on when House of the Dragon Season 2 arrives? We’ll find out now, won’t we?
