Open-World Survival Game Terminator: Survivors Revealed During Nacon Connect 2024

Terminators: Survivors is a new game that was announced during Nacon Connect 2024 and is being developed by Nacon Studio Milan.

Terminator: Survivors is a new original game and story that will take place after the second movie in the Terminator movie series, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Here, players will take control of a group of survivors, either solo or coop and will be faced with dealing with the post-apocalyptic world in an attempt to survive. This means you’ll have to deal with finding resources, as well as other groups who are also trying to survive in the same post-apocalyptic world. That won’t be the only concern, as Skynet is still around and will hound players at every turn. Expect to see the T-800 and T-1000 in one form or another, and possibly new variants.

According to Marco Ponte, CEO & Creative Director of Terminators: Survivors, this will be the studio’s most ambitious project to date.

It’s been four years since the day humanity nearly perished. The truth of the event is still muddied in half-truths as you emerge from a shelter to attempt and reestablish some semblance of society in a world that seems hell-bent on eliminating you and the last vestiges of mankind. You are tasked with scouring the surrounding land for materials, information, other survivors and key resources in order to establish a base of operations for your fledgling group.

But you’re not alone. Skynet’s machines are hunting you. They don’t feel anything. They never stop. Ever. Until they completed their mission: eradication of all humanity. Alone or within a group of up to four, lead humanity’s rise from the ashes and unravel the truth behind the bombs, Skynet and the Terminator threat.

While we only have the trailer to go off of, it feels like a Days Gone or State of Decay set in a Terminator world, and I can get behind that.

ed for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Early Access for Terminator: Survivors will start on October 24, 2024.
