Persona 3 Reload Release Date Revealed, Pre-Orders Now Live

ATLUS revealed during Gamescom 2023 that its remake of a PlayStation 2 classic title, Persona 3 Reload, will be released on February 2, 2024, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Yep, it’s finally happening!

This remake will feature updated visuals, an all-new voice cast, a re-orchestrated soundtrack, and updated gameplay mechanics since the game was initially released on the PlayStation 2. It’s an excellent way for those who missed out on playing the game back then or want to play through the game again but brought into the modern era of gaming. Of course, it’s also another way to listen to that fantastic soundtrack, including a classic that has been remixed and rearranged so many times… yet Mass Destruction. Of course, the new voice cast is pretty danged good, so there’s no worrying about that.

Pre-orders for the game have opened up as of today and will include bonus songs from ATLUS’s Persona 4 Golden, which include the following:

  • Reach Out to the Truth
  • Time To Make History
  • I’ll Face Myself -Battle-
  • A New World Fool
  • The Fog
  • Results

There are four editions of Persona 3 Reload, as detailed below.

Persona 3 Reload Standard Edition ($69.99) – The Persona 3 Reload Standard Edition includes the base game plus the Persona 4 BGM bonus if you pre-order the game.

Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99) – The Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, a digital art book, a digital soundtrack, and a Persona 4 BGM bonus if you pre-order the game.

Persona 3 Reload Digital Premium Edition ($99.99) – The Persona 3 Digital Premium Edition includes the base game, a digital art book, a digital soundtrack, and the Persona 3 Reload DLC Pack, which consists of the following.

  • Persona 4 Golden Yasogami High Costume Set
  • Persona 5 Royal Shujin Academy Costume Set
  • Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Costume Set
  • Persona 5 Royal Persona Set 1
  • Persona 5 Royal Persona Set 2
  • Persona 4 Golden Persona Set
  • Persona 5 Royal BGM Set
  • Persona 4 Golden BGM Set

Persona 3 Reload Aigis Edition ($199.99) – The Persona 3 Reload Aigis Edition includes a base copy of the game, a physical art book, a two-disc soundtrack, the Persona 3 Reload DLC pack, and a figure of Aigis. This is a collector’s edition, so I expect this to sell out quickly. However, the downside is that this is only available at Gamestop, and we all know how bad they are at handling collector’s editions.

I really want it, but after having three CEs canceled by Gamestop, I don’t like my chances.

**Update** Amazon also has the Persona 3 Reload Aigis Collector’s Edition up for pre-order. Huzzah, you can skip going to Gamestop!

Amazon – PS5 Persona 3 Reload Aigis Collector’s Edition ($199.99)
Amazon – PS4 Persona 3 Reload Aigis Collector’s Edition ($199.99)
Amazon – Xbox Persona 3 Reload Aigis Collector’s Edition ($199.99)
