Microsoft Unveils Armored Core 6-Themed Xbox Series X Console and Controller

By Keith MitchellAugust 18, 2023
Xbox Series X Armored Core Console

Xbox has revealed a customized Armored Core 6-themed Xbox Series X console for the upcoming release of Armored Core 6, and I have to tell you… I want this. Sure, I already own an Xbox Series X, but I wouldn’t mind another. Sadly, this console isn’t for sale; the only way to get this is to win it.

Xbox Series X Armored Core Console

This Xbox Series X has shades of black with a weathered metal theme to give it the appeal that it’s been abused in battle, just like the mechs in Armored Core 6. Additionally, the Xbox Series controller has been given the same treatment, and this is the very same controller that was given out to those who attended the special Armored Core 6 event hosted by Bandai Namco. I must say I was extremely jealous, being the controller collector I am.

To enter the contest, retweet with #XboxArmoredCoreSweepstakes & follow @Xbox and @armoredcore for a chance to win this Armored Core 6 bundle.

While we initially questioned if the Xbox Series and controller would be bundled in this Ammo Box that is also in the picture, we don’t have to anymore. Xbox’s CEO Phil Spencer took a peek and showed the world just how the inside of the Ammo Box looked, with the Xbox and controller inside.

Good Luck! Also, don’t forget that Armored Core 6 releases on August 25, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
