I’d be lying if I didn’t say that Gunfire Games’ upcoming Action RPG Remnant II was one of my most anticipated games of 2023 because it totally is. And thanks to the recent reveal, we now know that Remnant II will be released for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on July 25, 2023.
Taking place decades after Remnant from the Ashes, Remnant II has players going up against the Root, an Alien tree-like being that is determined to wipe out life across all worlds. In the prior game, they very nearly succeeded, if not for the actions of the players. But now it’s back, even more dangerous than before. That’s ok because so are we with three new archetypes, Gunslinger, Handler, and Challenger, and ways to level them to suit your playstyle.
I call dibs on the Challenger, ok?
Unfortunately, the release trailer is age-gated, so you’ll have to hit up YouTube to watch the trailer. But if you enjoyed the prior game, then get ready for more action, more choices, and more lore than before.
