The Marvels Movie Gets Pushed Back To November, Gets Official Poster

By Todd BlackFebruary 17, 2023
The Marvels

For the first 20+ films of its run, the Marvel Cinematic Universe felt like it was unstoppable. Even with the “lesser films” that fans love to debate about, things always turned in its favor. But in recent years, thanks to both the global pandemic and the potential oversaturation of the brand, things have…taken a different turn. Phase 4 is widely seen as the worse phase in the MCU for various reasons (not the least of which is the terrible film that is Thor Love and Thunder!) and many hope Phase 5 will be better. It certainly has that potential, but it’s having its own issues as The Marvels is proving.

The movie is meant to bring Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan together for the first time in live-action, but the film has had difficulty getting to theaters. It’s been delayed multiple times, and today, we can add another to that list. Because today, The Marvels got its first poster. It’s pretty basic, but it highlights the three main ladies with their appropriate superhero symbols. However, it also showcases how the film was delayed until November 10th.

Higher. Further. Faster. Together.

It was originally supposed to come out this weekend, but swapped places with Ant-Man: Quantummania. And now, it’s getting pushed further down the line. How this will affect the rest of this years films and properties remains to be seen.
