Xbox Developer Direct Taking Place on January 25

Xbox has confirmed it will host a ‘Developer_Direct’ livesteam on January 25th, 2023, at 12 PM PT / 3 PM EST. This event will cover upcoming Xbox, PC, and Game Pass titles for the next few months.

Initially, this was a rumor for the past few days until Xbox announced the event. We don’t know where the event will occur, but Xbox will let us know soon. This event will run for 45 minutes and will be streamed on Xbox’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

Join us for the #DeveloperDirect, presented by Xbox and Bethesda, featuring major updates from Minecraft Legends, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online.

Tune in January 25 at 3pm ET!

This developer direct livestream won’t be like the events we’ve seen in the past, and instead, we’ll hear directly from the developers with gameplay showcases. There won’t be any fluff, no hosts, and no goofy stuff. They’ll get straight to the things we really want to hear about – the games. Developers such as Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios, with games that we’re looking to hear and see, such as  The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

However, if you want to hear more about Starfield, that title won’t make an appearance. Xbox and Bethesda have stated that Starfield will get its own standalone event, as they want to do a proper deep dive for the game. We don’t know anything when this will happen yet.

It’s going to be a big year for us, it starts on January 25th as we take you inside our studios to see some of the games coming to Xbox/PC/Game Pass over next few months. Also to dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Starfield, a standalone show is in the works! https://t.co/zwTnmvzdlU

While I want to see some Starfield gameplay, Redfall and the reboot of Forza Motorsport are the two games that are also on my radar.

Be sure to check out the Xbox Developer Direct on January 25th, 2023.
