Just as you’ve been powering yourself up with Reality Augments in Battle Royale, power yourself up with the return of Fortnite x Dragon Ball. In the v23.30 update, Son Gohan and Piccolo from the Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO movie make their Fortnite debut, the Kamehameha attack item and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item are out of the vault, and Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back!
RETURNING GAMEPLAY
Throughout each match in Fortnite Battle Royale and Zero Build, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items will fall from the sky in capsules from Capsule Corp. These two items will remain in Battle Royale and Zero Build until v23.40.
DRAGON BALL ADVENTURE ISLAND
Made by creator team Vysena Studios, the Dragon Ball Adventure Island features iconic locations from the show to explore as well as the open PvP battle arena. Dragon Ball Adventure Island can be accessed from either the Discover screen or island code 5642-8525-5429.
NEW QUESTS & REWARDS
Complete a Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest on the Dragon Ball Adventure Island to unlock the Gohan Beast Spray. Starting February 8 at 1 AM AEDT, complete another Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest to unlock the Orange Piccolo Spray!
ITEM SHOP UNLEASHED
While wielding great powers on the Battle Royale Island or collecting Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Adventure Island, venture as Dragon Team members Son Gohan or Piccolo. These new Outfits — and their matching accessories — are available in the Item Shop starting now!
Writer Note: The original Dragon Ball Super x Fortnite collab was what brought me back to playing Fortnite, and I haven’t stopped playing since! At the moment there is still some crossover with the My Hero Academia collab so you might be able to pick up not only the Nimbus Cloud and Kamehameha but also the Deku Smash for the ultimate overpowered Fortnite experience.
