Cö shu Nie, known for their anime hits such as “Tokyo Ghoul: Re”, “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and “Black Butler”, has released their 2nd single from their independent record label, RVRNC.
On the track titled “Hollow”, Cö shu Nie channels their nu metal influences while mixing the groove of artists such as J Dilla and Hiatus Kaiyote on the second half of the song.
Zach Danziger, a veteran jazz drummer who has played drums for artists like U2 Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Donny McCaslin, etc. elevates the song with his signature virtuoso playing. Zach Danziger has also worked on the “Oceans 11 & 12 & 13” series soundtrack and is a prominent figure in the movie/TV industry.
