Light Novel

Vic’s Lab has announced that the full first volume of the last contest-winning book, “Cobalt Blue” by author Zhiliang Tay, is now complete on Kindle Vella at getbook.at/CobaltBlueVella. You can read the first three chapters for free, and the rest can be unlocked with tokens provided by Kindle Vella (free starter tokens or ones purchased). Please like chapters, follow the book, review it, and give it weekly crowns to show your support.

Vic’s Lab describes the book as follows:

“Yuri feels she’s a failure when she learns she isn’t accepted into university. When her parents tell her they will no longer help her financially, Yuri has no idea how she’ll survive on her own. BUT THEN Yuri meets an elderly man who makes her an offer to be the successor of his company. She agrees, thinking he was joking. But it wasn’t a joke, and now everything’s changed. Soon, Yuri becomes entangled with one of Japan’s most notorious crime families and trains to be their leader.”

This light novel is recommended for ages 16 and older due to the language, violence, and some sexuality.

Another book that is complete is “Sword Quest of Enigmatic Souls: Vol 1: Takanova” by Alex Theriot. This book is available to read for free in serialized format for a limited time for VicsLab.com members. You can read all chapters on this website as long as you are logged in. Visit www.vicslab.com/category/sword-quest.

Sword Quest is described as follows:

“For twenty years, the island states of Molovar have been walled off from the world of Dirac by the great Mist Dome, a thick fog that appeared on the mysterious ‘Day Left in Grey’. Within the dome, the different cultures began turning on each other, in a fight for supremacy of their caged world. On the island of Takanova, the proud Teutons are reaching their limits in the fight against the practiced Wolverine Army, and desperately hope for one of their budding youths to become the next ‘Heir to the Sword’, a knight who will uphold the Teuton’s will to protect their land. Cedric, a troubled teen who happens to be the most highly touted candidate, has always dreamed of being a knight. With his chance at glory ahead of him, the enigmatic boy must face the world head on in a quest to find himself and end the war, while discovering the world’s secrets hidden throughout the dome.”

The book is also available as an ebook and print book. Its ebook version is can be found on VicsLab.com at www.vicslab.com/product/sword-quest, and the ebook and print versions are available via online retailers, including Amazon (getbook.at/SwordQuest). The author has published the second volume in the series, which can be found on Amazon here, so make sure you read the first volume first!

If you are a fan of the Vecto series by Reid Kemper, then you can read the third and final book in the series, “Alpha Squad – Vecto: Virtue” by Reid Kemper, on Kindle Vella at getbook.at/VectoVirtueVella. It is still a work in progress with 57 BitNovel portions available to read.

The series is described as follows:

“Can a robot be redeemed? The Vecto trilogy is about a sentient robot on a quest to find his arch nemesis, Morphaal. The first book, Alpha Squad – Vecto: Vengeance, is about Vecto’s downfall in his quest for vengeance. The second book, Alpha Squad – Vecto: Voyage, is about Vecto’s recovery and journey in search of Morphaal.
