When Spongebob Squarepants vs Aquaman was announced, fans as a whole were like, “What?” Don’t get me wrong; Death Battle has done some CRAZY matchups in the past. But this was Spongebob Squarepants vs. the Super Friends version of Aquaman. Two of the “lamest” characters in TV history were about to clash with one another. How could this possibly be good? The answer is, “it’s good, great even, and it’s easy to see why.”
While I won’t spoil too much, we will say that this “atypical” Death Battle episode features a LOT of humor in the best way possible. I was in tears by the end because I was laughing so hard. Check out Spongebob Squarepants vs Aquaman below and see for yourself why.
