Knockout City Has Officially Gone Free to Play

Remember when people claimed that Knockout City would eventually become a Free to Play title? Well, it happened, and it’s official. As of June 1st, 2022, Knockout City is a Free to Play game for consoles and PC.

This also means that the game will no longer require a PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live Gold or Nintendo Switch Online membership to play the game. 

Those who purchased the game and had logged in at least once prior to June 1st, 2022, will receive a “Thank You”, in the form of a Loyalty Royalty Bundle. This include includes the following;

  • 2000 Holobux
  • 5x Style Chips
  • Starfruit Special
  • Legendary Crew Banner – Gold Plated Pals
  • Legendary Outfit Gold Plated: Golden Greaser
  • Legendary Outfit Gold Plated: Golden Double Rider
  • Legendary Outfit Gold Plated: Golden Varsity
  • Legendary Outfit Gold Plated: Golden Button-Down
  • Legendary Player Icon Gold Played Chonky
  • Legendary Taunt Gold Plated Woohoo!
  • Season 6 – 10% Match XP Boost
  • Season 6 – 5% Crew XP Boost
  • Season 6 – 5% Friend XP Boost

Lastly, a new update “Season 6: City of Tomorrow” has also been released, and includes a number of fixes, new cosmetics, a new brawl pass (battle pass), gameplay mechanics such as the Boomerang Ball, and more. Knockout City is Free to Play, and is currently available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
