Evil West is an upcoming 3rd person action/adventure game from Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog. and one I’ve been eager to get my hands on the title. Except, there was one problem; a release date wasn’t announced. That is until now, as Focus Entertainment has revealed that Evil West will be released on September 20th, 2022.

Preorders for Evil West are now live for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Nothing yet for the PC (steam) version, and you can’t wishlist it either.

Evil never sleeps… but it bleeds.

Fight with style in visceral, explosive combat against bloodthirsty monstrosities and become a Wild West superhero.#EvilWest releases on September 20 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC: https://t.co/kGFlsEE52I pic.twitter.com/OSuFvDXyyJ

I had a chance to go hands-on with Evil West at PAX East 2022, and despite breaking the game once, I felt the experience was lots of fun, and I didn’t want to stop playing the demo. Sadly I had to as other people wanted to play the game as well. The action is fast-paced, where players will use melee and ranged abilities to take down enemies, with a skill tree that lets you customize your playstyle. Truthfully, the demo didn’t include everything that would be in the full game, but after speaking to the Focus Entertainment staff, I was excited about what I was told.

In addition to the release date, several new screenshots and a trailer were also revealed. Check those out below.

Now we have the Evil West release date, we just have to wait a few more months. That’s assuming that the game doesn’t get delayed. I’ll be looking forward to getting more hands-on with the game as soon as I can.
