Valkyrie Elysium: The Return Of The Valkyrie Series

By Scott AdamsMarch 9, 2022
Valkyrie Elysium

Today during PlayStation’s State of Play we got a reveal of the next entry into the Valkyrie series, Valkyrie Elysium.

Introducing #ValkyrieElysium, the next entry in the acclaimed Valkyrie series!

Play as a Valkyrie who’s been entrusted with the fate of this world by the All-Father, the highest among gods and the ruler of all creation.

From the looks of the trailer it seems that the combat is focused on real time action combat. The previous entries in the series have been turn based oriented. This will be a bit of a shock to long time fans who want just better graphics but a similar engine to the previous games. The graphics do look gorgeous but I do have concerns with how janky the combat appears to look from the gameplay that was shown. I hope that it gets to be more polished by the time it gets released.

Valkyrie Elysium will be released on PS4, PS5 and Steam in 2022.
