Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Just Received an Amazing-looking Poster

By Keith MitchellMarch 11, 2022

I don’t have to remind you that Paramount Pictures and SEGA have been hard at work on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie. You’ve seen the trailer, the TV spots and probably have friends who won’t stop talking about it. So, yeah, you know. Today, a new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie poster was revealed, and well, it looks pretty damned cool.

On the left side, we have Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik and Knuckles the Echidna who’ll be voiced by Idris Elba. While on the right side we have Sonic the Hedgehog, voiced byBen Schwartz, and added Miles “Tails” Prower, voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey.

While details of the movie haven’t been revealed, we can all safely assume that it is closely based on the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 game and begins shortly after the first movie. Dr. Robotnik has managed to find his way back to Earth, with Knuckles in tow. While Sonic has settled into his new role as Superhero, Tails is searching for Sonic. We’ve seen the trailers and know that Knuckles and Sonic come to blows, just like in the game. The chaos emeralds are in, or at least one has been shown, so they’ll play a major part in the movie. We’ll have to wait until the movie drops to see how it all plays out.

As fans of both Sonic the Hedge the game and the movie, we’re ready for this to be released. Speaking of which, check out our review of Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
